A few weeks ago, whilst at the Curado Bar, Cardiff, I ate the most delicious tapas dish made with mushrooms and served on Barra, which is a type of Spanish bread. It was wonderful, earthy and yet sweet from the sherry and rich, I wanted to eat it forever.
M: “I've made this for years and years - really, really simple to make. It’s done so quickly. You will love it!”

M: "Tapas originated in the South of Spain. Tapa means to cover. A 'cover' of bread or cheese was put over your glass of wine to stop fruit flies from getting in your drink. Today, well, we call it Tapear, meaning going from bar to bar, having a tapas dish in each one, with a glass of wine or sherry, with good friends, having a good time!"
